Our Joomla! extensions are all OpenSource and free of charge. Support is also free of charge. Nevertheless, we do have costs that need to be paid. This is done out of our own pocket. We have had a donation button on our website for some time now, which is actually used to make donations from time to time. The donation progress bar is intended to show how much support we have received and how much is still missing to cover the basic costs, such as hosting and services. The annual costs currently amount to 420€.

Just for information: Task Plugin Notice

2 months 4 weeks ago - 2 months 4 weeks ago #605 by LUCiD
Hello Sven.
I don't know if you have recognized this, but your task plugin shows a notice (PHP v8.2.27) :

Notice: Only variables should be passed by reference in [webroot]\plugins\task\schuwebsitemap\services\provider.php on line 44

Oh, btw. Thanks for the version switch with the latest version

Have a nice one!

I see the same error at Task list (administrator/index.php?option=com_scheduler&view=tasks) and inside any Task (administrator/index.php?option=com_scheduler&view=task&layout=edit&id=1)

seems problem is in following line

$container->get(DispatcherInterface::class),

any ideas how to solve it?

Hello alex_job.

You can also hide the notice (it is not an error, but indicates that this could lead to errors in future versions) as long as there is no update for it.

In the global settings of Joomla under the 'Server' tab, set the setting for 'Report errors' to 'None'.
I would also recommend that you set the setting for 'Debug system' to 'No' in the global settings under the 'System' tab if you on your production site, in other words generally switch it off as long as you are not looking for any specific errors.
However, if you are on a test/development site and the notice bothers you while debugging other stuff, you can also deactivate the triggering extension to temporarily suppress that notice.
